That white boat I posted wasn't totally blinged out like Statement does, so the price will be higher but it will look great too

My point was I would not expect any crazy price hike on a like schemed boat that Jay would have built and now Statement will. Only way that changes is if they start changing the hull and doing R&D to do so but I would not expect that on a proven haul like that.

Just saying two motors that combined make 900HP and cost over 100K should be reliable. I mean in today's world that isn't a ton of HP and they are 4.6 liters each so not really pushing HP/ Cubic In.

I thought gladiator prices were very attractive when they were going for 80ish. Seems this has been figured out.
I think there may be a new boat niche open right now for a reasonably priced twin engine sit down V.

Prices for luxury goods were severely depressed for a few years because the whole economy was on the brink. If you go back and see what some of the houses in Florida were selling for after the Financial crisis (and the same thing with stocks) it'll give you a serious case of shoulda-woulda-coulda.

This one will make you cry.......25mm spec house on the ocean, brand new 13,000 sq ft fully furnished by Robb and Stucky (was a high end decorator). House never sold, no one slept there a single night and it got foreclosed on.

House was foreclosed on, everybody got screwed. House fell into disrepair after 6-7 years (but remember it was BRAND NEW, unlived in). Buyer realized it was sitting on a lot zoned for multfamily. Paid 11mm for it and tore the house down, built 6 new townhouses on the lot that sold in the 5-6mm range.
The guy that originally built it was a smart guy, one of the richest guys in town for decades (mansions, yachts, helicopters). The market squeezed him out, he is living in a 250K house now essentially living on social security.

I have kept my eyes open for a few yrs with the idea of moving up but I just can't get over the prices guys are asking for 02-06 38s. I love my AT but I've had it for 12 yrs and would love to move up to a 42x but not at these prices.

Gladiators are some of the most badass boats ever made! They are underrated by many and overlooked because people are delusional thinking they need a cabin and then never use it lol! Sit down boats, especially when going fast, are so much better it would be like standing up while racing formula one cars or trophy truck. I think these and the Maximus were ahead of their time and honestly don't understand why the prices ever were so low. But at the same time this sport has never made much sense in a whole but hey I'm still addicted! As the boats continue to go faster and buyers move up I believe more and more people are realizing how important it is to run a sit down boat. (Other good points already posted)
There's no way to write this nicely but why have you been tire kicking gladiators for like 7 years now!
