it’s not acid lol. Seen plenty of freshwater boats in worse shape than those that boated in salt. Not saying buy a corroded mess, but don’t skip them entirely just because it saw salt.

Some people with thalassaphobia (fear of salt water) will never get over it. Thank God I'm not worried, I've spent 95% of my boating life in salt water and always maintained my boats perfectly.

True, but I only boat in fresh water, so don’t want a boat that has potential issues because it has seen it. If I boated in salt water, that would be different and I would deal with it, but I don’t.

You're missing some amazing boating by skipping salt water.

I think salt water boating would be great, but I would not trailer mine down 12hrs for it. I would just rent if I were going salt water boating.

Depends on use. If for family boating and overnighting then get the ZX. If you have a lakehouse or dockominium or some other floating condo or don't plan on sleeping on the boat much then get the ZR.

Kind of shame to not take a boat like that to the ocean.

Here at Lake of the Ozarks, and the 60ft cruisers it can feel like the ocean and actually a 35zr is pretty small here. The 35zr is my preference but like I said, I am open to the 33zx.

well better stick to donzi’s then. Cigarette, active thunder, and outerlimits test all there new boats in salt. Makes me laugh at the ads that state “freshwater only”
