Guarantee if you got sick with the Rona that`s the first thing you`d be asking for .
Trump went bankrupt a few times? I don`t know the specifics but at the end of the day he`s the President of the United States married to a supermodel and you`re on your couch over there eating cheetos with your hands down your pants pretending to be a doctor.
Thanx for coming in .
Im hanging out in st pete beach if you want to keep pulling. It’s hot every day. Rain next week though. Getting the boat out of the shop today or tomorrow.

Guess they were going to figure out a way to make money off this one way or another .

The beaches are closed thou right?
If you were serious thank you for the offer, we have a pretty nice house with a pool since the beaches are also closed in Alabama.

The fear with this "everything locked down" philosophy is that when it is eventually "over" and everyone emerges from under their rocks, there is a LARGE likely-hood that another flood of infection will begin. There's a theory called "herd immunity" and I buy into it. For those that are healthy, COVID is a nasty flu. Gonna put you on your butt for a week and you'll recover. With herd immunity, you pass the weaker strength strain on to the next healthy person who in turn passes it on and so on and so on weakening the virus as it spreads until it eventually dies out. This wont happen if everyone just hides from it....Oh, and we're absolutely destroying our economy.

So, yeah, go back to business as usual while being smart. Continue to wash your hands, not touch your face, practice a higher rate of sanitizing, stay away form elderly and ill. I think the cease of life as we know it is way over-kill and is killing our country.

Herd Immunity working is Sweden.

Yes closed. But they aren’t kicking people off. Hotels are dirt cheap right now. I’m staying with my folks right now, once ask prices on houses come down I’m ready though.

Seems like you suffer from a case of tds. Trump referred to the dems criticism of him as a hoax but the media twists it. Trump shuts down travel from china and is labeled a racist. That has been the biggest step. It was the most important step to date

Deaths projection has gone from 1m + to 250k to 80k and now 30k.

The number of beds, ventilors etc was estimated from 4 to 8 times actual.

The president has not presrcibed any drugs, drs do. It is up to them to determine if they are proper. It is up to the dr to determine the course of tratment. Btw those drugs have a long history and dont the side effects you imply.

When a virus likes this pops up it is unknown. How to treat it and how deadly it is is not known. Its not like you can pull out a play book andknow what works. There will always be second guessing and hind sight will be 20 20.
You can be in the doom and gloom crowd and believe the world will end or you can believe that we can over come.

You cant shut down everything. If your roof is leaking it needs fixing. If your water heater goes out it needs to be replaced. There are crops and animals that need to be tended to. Etc I think you need a balance of distancing but still you have to go on.

Keep your hatred to yourself

I usually wouldn’t engage on such a blatantly politically fueled rant but I feel since you quoted me And called my opinion “careless and uninformed”, I can respond.

Yeah, I’ve actually been paying attention to many aspects of this virus, not just death rates. Things like the fact herd immunity is working pretty well in Sweden, where the government didn’t take their citizens rights away from them, but requested social distancing and care be taken to combat the spread of the virus. And the fact that the WHO is a farce. or the fact seemingly all statistics leading up to where we are now are inconsistent - the manner in which they count covid 19 deaths for example or the fact that the projected number of infection and deaths were GROSSLY over estimated (and those estimates included shelter in place). Or the fact that many people in the know feel the seed date of this virus in the U.S. was prior to January in various parts of the Country, like California. I had two friends that had what they thought was the flu in November that had the exact same symptoms as covid and checked themselves into hospitals. Speaking of hospitals, my wife was in the hospital this week, it was EMPTY!

so yeah, with that all said, my opinion on this stands. We shouldn’t be in a lock down state. We should shelter in place the elderly and those with respiratory issues while the young and healthy carry on with work and life while practicing social distancing, washing hands frequently and trying not to pass along the illness. the damage to our economy is staggering. But the scariest part of this whole thing isn’t the death rate, which again has been grossly lower than originally estimated or the economy, that I personally think we will rebound from pretty quickly but the fact politicians just stripped everyone in this country of their freedom and rights!! That sh!t should terrify everyone! Being cited for Paddle boarding , boating, walking in a park, or holding a church service where your perisheners are parked and isolated in their cars?! The scares the hell out of me.

The ihme model that this lock down is based on is WRONG!! insanely wrong. Yet here we are, in complete lock down where recommended shelter in place has turned into citations and arrests if you’re not toeing the line. Push away from the propaganda machine and open your eyes man. locking down the whole country as if it is all impacted in the same manner as New York has been is ludacris! Oh, and the New York projected estimated death and infection rates from just last week were grossly over estimated as well!

But carry on with your flock of sheep. More power to you. You do you. Just don’t go all sideways on me because I give my opinion when someone asks, “so we should be business as usual”. Yeah, I think we can be business as usual while being smart and most importantly without the government enforcing how that’s done

They brought in 45 refrigerated trailers as temporary morgues in NYC where 700+ a day are dying and practicing caution is being a sheep? Ok.
