Another person that has always answered the phone and helped is Eddie young... before and after I was a customer.

Yep, Eddie is a good guy and extremely knowledgeable. I haven't seen him on OSO in a long time.

Definitely a shame. I had an issue with a boat in the past, multiple shops threw the towel in, and he was the only guy willing to talk me through fixing it. Turned out to be something simple but it eluded multiple mechanics. He saved my summer. Greatly appreciate it.

I enjoyed reading his stuff. Seemed like a very knowledgeable guy that cared. Heaven forbid he make a dollar.

There nothing I can say that others haven’t already mentioned. BUP not in OSO is not the same. I have read so many discussions and forums replies with free advice and always valued his opinions. I have used the swap shop quite a bit. Who even goes to vendor side and look at new parts? If I want Teague, I go to Teagues website, if I want hardin, I go to hardins website. Does he even need OSO to fund his business? Probably not. Just my 2 cents.

So who are the other sellers you refer to who are in violation of the OSO advertising policy?? PM me if you would prefer.

BUP not being on oso is a devastating blow to this forum. Those of you that know him understand.

It seems like Facebook has been taking users away from forums for quite some time. Forums like these definitely need every dedicated user they can keep. As mentioned earlier, forums definitely need every user that generates relevant content as well. I love seeing the Outerlimits and Statement posts, but let's be real...I'll never be posting about my new OL. But...I'll definitely be reading BUP walking someone through their 496 HO being moody. The forum owners feel like he's taking money away with his posting and I get it. What they fail to think about is the value of a user making content that others want to view. That kind of content is what keeps people coming back.
