Over here out inlets are nothing at all like that. Every inlet here might have a strong current but that is all. There is no massive waves, no crazy confused water, none of that. It is usually rather smooth at all times but just has a ripping current.

I do have to say I like the older DONZI/Fountain OB sport fish type boats (ZSF and LE), those are pretty nice.
I love love love the 31 Fountains when slightly redone with some modern takes on them.

is being 15 on the boat the only plus to these boats? if so, i never feel like being too many on mine might as well keep my old rig !
A lot of CC's are self bailing too. They can tolerate a lot more water coming in the boat than a go fast boat,

I’ll admit they,re windy. Chilling behind the windshield on the formula is sooo nice, but it doesn’t ride as nice as my CC.

No other major drawbacks
