Re: How can this sport grow?
this sport is a hydro version of pro wrestling so run with it i am sure you will NOT find love muscle racing team and the entertainment they provide us other racers in the pits at an nascar event! run all the other classes early then bring out the Big Boys i want Quad engine 50 foot cats no rules throw in some aircraft engines maybe nitro for qualifing i want big thunder vs dirty laundry vs callen vs bacardi all at once i want thunder! and rooster tails no holds barred like like wrestlings super smack down i don,t care if it is staged run them all side by side and throw in a huge tailgate party then a victory party ....now lets see where this sport goes or grows

Nice find Shane.
Agreed, 2005 should be a banner year for offshore boat racing.
Who else is going to the APBA meeting later this week in Atlanta?

I'd be surprised if it grows much much more than were we are at.
People cannot relate to those rigs like they do to cars...everyone has a car.
Offshore would have a chance if the racing was consolidated but with the "monkee screwing a football" image the sanctionning orgs. projects, sponsors thus TV money will stick to more seemingly organised kinds of racing...
