Yep... simple good manners, good hygiene, and not touching your mucous membranes after touching anything else... it ain't hard.

Yeah, Very True

In general, I believe that is why some people and some ethnicities were more prone to Covid and some werent. I cant put my finger on "clean" people because even the most well put together individual might be a table wiper (My chick wipes crumbs off the table while dining out and it drives me nuts, LOL) but I can tell you Covid ripped thru the Haitian population in S Florida and Central Florida.... So, I think good hygiene definitely has merit.

Well after being in quarantine for the last 3 weeks with my wife im back. My wife got it first and i got it from her like 3 days later. I had "almost" no symptoms...about the worst of mine were just chills and/or night sweats.....no fever or anything else....i did get a case of pink eye during this as well but went away quickly. My wife on the other hand didn't fair so well. Her "normal" temp is usually around 97 and for the entire time Ive known her (30yrs now) i have never known her to get sick....ever! If she ever feels the slightest bit weird thinking she may be coming down with something she takes two vit-c and two aspirin and she is back at 100% then next morning. But this thing really kicked her. She had a fever hovering around 100-101 and nothing affected it...Tylenol or Motrin etc. she got so bad by the 4th day she had no energy to get out of bed to go tot he bathroom. I took her to ER and come to find out she also had pneumonia! Doctor there said if we got there two days earlier they could have done something (huh???) now she just had to stick it out. Lucky (or unlucky) for her, her oxygen levels were below 90% so they kept her that night in the hospital. They did end up giving her a steroid shot to help clear the fluid out of her lungs. She ended up staying there a total of two nights on oxygen before they let her go. Thankfully never got bad enough to have to go on a respirator! Anyway she is back home now....but the thing that sucks is she needs to give herself a needle shot in the stomach for two weeks because a blood test showed markers of potential blood clotting issues due to this Covid crap! Her lung capacity was at half of what it should have been when she got out. She has a spirometer to help condition/test her lungs at home.
And its all thanks to some dumb ass 22yr old kid that felt sick and came to work anyway! Lucky no one else got it here at work.
The one thing i will tell you guys is while my wife was at the hospital the nurse there told her there's a lot of people there suffering from Covid even after getting both shots! So its a crap shoot either way it seems.
Im still apprehensive about getting the shot as i believe my own immune system is better then any man made crap (obviously there are exceptions to things) but i have never gotten a flu shot in my life and i usually do get the flu once during winter but it usually lasts about 2 days and its gone....i know friends who get the shot yearly and still get the flu anyway and suffer longer...
Anyway just stay safe out there people...wash your hands, dont lick door knobs and for cripes sake if you feel ill in anyway way, stay home! ;)

I had my second one last week Dean, the day after felt a little tired, took two Tylenol and a quick 30 min nap.

That is all, I have had worst hang overs by far.

I got my first Pfizer shot on Friday and was stuck in bed all day Saturday and most of Sunday. I went to work today but still feel like crap. I don’t think I’m getting the second shot. And yes, I have already had COVID, the only reason I got the shot in the first place was for 3 paid days off at work, which I will probably never use aside from being sick from the second shot if I get it.
