I agree, I would have been all over it when it showed up at Phantom, but I am 90% into a 34 build.
I just want a mid size Cig or Apache to go with the Phantom and then call it a day on the boat stuff.
My thoughts on the price are only based on shop chatter and speculation, not hard info.

The Spirit of Apache is probably the top condition Apache out there and they dumped huge money into it and I think the first actual sale price was 300-400K (after a 1.2mm build and asking huge money to start). So while the sale price might be a benchmark for Apaches, it was still a 60%+/- loss. The 41 Apache Ultimate Warrior had similar numbers 600K build, asking 199K.
This Cig just had 50K dumped in it, surely a 99K sale isn't making the guy any money but it should be a nice boat to own/run for the next few years.
There was a 28 Magnum called Powder Keg for sale 10-15 years ago. Small block twins, I think it even had alpha drives on it (it was a goofy powertrain) but it was restored to an over the top level and it was 30-35K. Just a cool old boat that was timeless, small enough to use in any lake, easy to tow, small enough to tuck into a barn. No idea what happened to it, but it would have been a cool boat to own for very little money.
