I see this more about the efficiency of the approach. The fact that it is a water jet does not limit it to an electric drive only. If you can get a more efficient drive, then you can expect to get more thrust applied to the hull, so you'd presumably go faster with the same HP/TQ. The cool thing about electric motors is the available torque starts at nearly 0 RPM, so if the drive is able to take it, you could really accelerate from a standing start. So I dont care if it is green or not, I just wonder how fast I could go with these hanging on my transom.
