Gas went up $.15 yesterday. Guess I will be driving the LBZ a little more.

I guess you people have never heard of SUPPLY and DEMAND. I am referring to the price of lumber.

Honest question here: How many people on the board don’t pay attention to fuel prices bc you know you need it anyway? I personally get fuel when I need it and never look at the price. My wife will drive 5-8 miles out of her way to save 2-3c a gallon on a 18 gallon fill up. Drives me nuts. :lolhit:

btw... fuel prices rising sucks and F this regime/administration that’s in office now. :angry-smiley-038:

So while the economy was booming under Trump and the gas prices were low there was no demand for gas huh? ... after covid with reserves thru the roof and people still working from home that`s when there`s more demand and that`s why the prices are up.??
I`m not saying you`re dumb but you sure have some bad luck when thinking

I'm not an economist but 4/2020 according this second chart unemployment jumped to 18M+ when everything shut down. SO many had to change life styles and just trying to keep up with paying the bills and cutting all the extras out. While many were collecting unemployment benefits which in my state is bout 60% or less of working wages. And with many working at home gas demand dropped even more.

Unemployment rate falls to 6.9 percent in October 2020 : The Economics Daily: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (bls.gov)

I'm sure there's better charts than this, but about 4/20 usage dropped almost 50%

Like everyone I like cheap fuel to power out boat too, but been through this many times recently even when it was higher than today.

I filled the boat with 90 gallons of ethanol free gas two weeks ago @ $3.57 per. Today it's $4.00. When Trump was Pres. it was $2.80. Fuk Joe Biden....
