Gas prices $$

Gas in NJ is on its way up already $2.65 regular cash. Anyone want to guess what it will be in the summer? $3.85 will be my guess on July 4th as a summer date to see who was closest. We can use a USA average report on the 4th of July.

Just the start of bad things that are coming!!
$15 minimum wage = drastic increase in cost of product and services.

Not a surprise--most of the refineries and fracking operations shut down in Texas due to the cold.

SB’s post got taken down...it was hilarious and sadly true.

Wtf . Did some one report it ?
If so, whomever did you have no humor and pretty much a loser for doing so. Are ‘Orangeman bad’ jokes okay with you ?I hope you can find some peace in your life.

$2.31 in Missouri, Permian Basin has lost 1 million barrels a day or 40% of US production. Over-reliance on wind power and limits on nuclear have tripped the breakers down there in TX. Oil prices were bound to head up with the wu-han wearing out its welcome, we'll see what the drooling sock puppet Pres. mutters next!!! Move to outboards !!!!

So many things I’d like to add to this but I’ll behave...
What will be the incentive to further education and work towards a job such as a medical assistant or CNA that makes under $15?

So I don’t get off topic... back to gas.
I saw diesel close to $3 per gallon yesterday... So in a few months, I could see gas being $4 and diesel over that.

Last year I topped off my Fountain for about $110. That will never happen again...
I’ll still boat. Other areas of the economy may see less of my money because it will be going to gas and diesel.

3.85-4.20 on the water and about 3.20-3.50 on the road. Gas tax in MO is still reasonable. But, they are talking a 5 year plan of increases. No road tax on the water here. Oil is still going to get here, it will just come by train instead of pipeline and cost more. Sucks big time for the oil workers, who busted their asses off to get the pipeline working. A little ditty below about the oil movement on trains vs Pipeline.

KEYSTONE PIPELINE VS TRAIN TO MOVE OIL

1 Train has 100 cars, 2 engines and weighs 27,240,000 LBS.

1 Train carries 3,000,000 gallons of oil.

1 train uses 55.5 gallons of diesel per mile.

It takes 119,000 gallons of diesel to go 2150 miles from Hardidsy, AB to Freeport, TX.

Keystone pipeline was to deliver 34,860,000 gallons of oil per day.

It would take 12 trains and 1,428,000 gallons of diesel to deliver that amount. PER DAY!

521,220,000 gallons of diesel per year.
