Wait and see, after these prices are in effect for a couple of months, the current leaders will have talks and get them down to 5.00. Then they will tell us how good they are and how they made a difference. AND people will believe it.

More likely going much higher, especially diesel.

I agree with him. Refining is the element that is rarely talked about but has been the major bottleneck for over a decade! Too many regulations, if it wasn't already built and grandfathered in, it wont happen. I know several old refineries sitting out there half dismantled where operating permits are continually renewed. That is entire value of facility is the permit. Kinda like a liquor license. Still once again, long lead time items to get built and running.....the same decade investment as a new offshore well or a big pipeline. I love the quote about the keystone XL " well that wont help us for another year or two even if we greenlit it", but if you never start it, you wont ever have it!. Best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, second best time is today! All of these politicians miss this point, all of them are for short game mentality, "what can you do for me today?" Nobody ever plays the long game anymore.

I don't fault companies for not investing in the new if they are going to be harassed or invest a bunch of money to have it arbitrarily yanked by the gooberment at last minute on a political whim (like the keystone).

I bought a 70” TV yesterday cheaper than a tank of gas for my Fountain.

I just paid $6.85 for Chevron Premium yesterday here in Commufornia. A couple days ago the idiot voters here elected Democrats to all state offices in the primaries. Crime is out of control. Gas prices highest in the nation. Electricity rates are highest in the nation. We have water and electricity shortages. We have 60% of all the homeless in the nation. We have the highest poverty rate. I can't believe how dumb the voters are here. I just don't get it.
