120.00fuel (less than an 1/8 of tank) 2 bags of ice, a 24pk, a bag of chips 166.00 for all of it. In the water at 1pm back on the trailer at 6pm. Friend and his band playing at the local restaurant/pub, went up there to see him play and meet up with some friends. Burger/fries and one bottled beer 26.00+ 10.00 tip (she gave great service and had a nice ass). 2 more bottles out at the stageside bar. 212.00 dollar Saturday. Last year that same Saturday was about 85.00 bucks( of course the bar tender did not have as nice of an ass). Inflation is at 11%? Good thing we are teaching gender reassignment and critical race theory in our schools. At least I still have a 12pack of beer left for next outing.

SO! I left Bradenton, Florida to Land O' Lakes around 7pm. Headed North on I-75. Came back around the same time. There was a noticeable Traffic decline. Unless you're traveling late at night. There is always a slow down, if not a crawl, at the I-4 on ramp or the Apollo Beach exit.It was smooth sailing at 80 both ways. Unless I got lucky. Gas has definitely put the brakes on a lot of people. 90 Octane:$6.25 at Loggerhead Marina - Marker 1 just north of Dunedin, FL

Did a cottage on Kelley’s Island in Lake Erie over the weekend.
Normally this time of season, both of the main marinas on the island are full.
I’d say at 50% this weekend.
So as trickle down effect, way less revenue for the island businesses too.

I sell residential fencing for a living and have been amazed at how recession, pandemic, rioting related…..,proof it has been.
But two weeks ago when gas hit $4.50 a gallon it was like someone turned off the spigot!
the last 2 wks sucked!!
I think it’s here, and I think it’s only going to get worse, the midterms in November will scare the **** out of the left/dems, but we’re stuck with them for two years after that!
Scared the tar out of the Mrs. over the weekend when she said Biden will be impeached.
I reminded her of who is next in line, and in line after that!!
It Ain’t good boys!

I'm cutting back on eating out. Not buying any more clothes for awhile, I don't need them. Shopping wisely. Sorry restaurants and local stores but I need gas money and boating and driving my cars is one thing that I will NOT cut back on.

We have not gotten either of our boats in the water yet this season....Exhaust manifolds for both motors and heat exchangers for the PC...should be ready to get launched this week we think...Not that sad about it as $1400.00 to fill that damn thing up is not on my "excited to do" list....The Superboat also has yet to be wet.....Again, not that really sad about it. Marina is at $6.60 per gallon.....I would rather fill up the M3's and go ripping around, certainly a lot cheaper. This is total bullSH**.... The worst is yet to come I am sad to say !!

Just moved my mom to an independent living facility in Phoenix area from Denver so have been driving back and forth from northern NV to move her stuff. Leaving again for last trip to Denver on Thursday. So far, one trip here to Denver to Phoenix back to here, another to Denver and back and one to Phoenix and back. Over 6K miles. I think lowest diesel was around $5.25 and some over $6. I think average was around $5.80. Truck pulling loaded 20' enclosed trailer going over mountains getting about 10 MPG. Good thing we're making a killing on selling her house ($1.25M with no mortgage). We close on the 17th.
