no I didn’t think there was a reason to buy a 350 unless you get a drw

That BOAT only is 9,200 lbs. Between gear, fuel, and trailer you're towing about 13,000 lbs. A 250 is enough but certainly all it wants. I tow all the time so I bought a dually for towing and a car for daily driving. Under your scenario the 250 should be fine.

I tow my Cigarette Cafe with a F250, boat weighs 9600 dry no gear or trailer. I did add air bags, but it pulls it great. I put about 2500 tow miles last year and it was fine. I also have EOH brakes on my trailer which helps .

For what its worth, it better to have too much truck than not enough.
I pull 9-14k loads weekly. My old 350 was much happier doing the work than my current 250. Both being diesels.

My 2018 f-250 diesel tows my 38ZR great. I’m right around 13.5-14000 loaded with aluminum trailer. Max for my truck is 14,700. A lot has to do with the trailer, how good are the brakes and how well the boat is balanced on the trailer. My setup tows so smooth I’ve caught myself going over 80 on the expressway a couple times on accident. You want tongue weight but not too much. F-150 shouldn’t be in the conversation for a load your size.

Just get an Expedition like the guy in the truck section. You will be Fine :lolhit:
