I didn't know that! thank you for the info!

Frankly the problem is that you’re even considering towing with a Ford:lolhit:

I only tow 2x a year. Once to the marina, once home to the garage. I use Enterprise Truck. it's about $100-$140/day to rent a F-250 / RAM 2500 or similar. They tow great and I return it the next day. $300/year (or less) is a LOT less than owning these things... when you only need it 2-4x a year... only get one 2-4x a year.

I used to have a Tahoe when I could tow my Chris Craft 245 places, but with my Formula 292, this was a much better route. I always get a brand new truck to tow, then just drop it off! I have a CyberTruck on order, and if I like it, (need a test drive before I buy), it will take over the towing duties.

i tow with a 3500 dually duramax... family also has a 2500 single wheel.

pulled my boat from LOTO to keywest a few times. never an issue - except trailer tires.

dually definitely pulls heavier boat a bit better, but at LOTO i usually just use the 2500, its definitely not over loaded.

right around 10k full of fuel an water.

Because I need my truck during the winter, I use Enterprise Truck each month when I come to Florida and SabrToothSqrl is correct, I pay $120 a day with towing plan and the trucks are great.

Awesome thank you! What lake do you boat on? I am OKC also!

Lake Tenkiller, and you?

I’ve been searching for a f250 or HD2500 myself but wouldn’t tow much more than 100 miles each way. I towed my 12m with my 2500 plow truck and did fine however in heavy traffic and longer distance I’d likely think differently.

I've towed my 9500 (dry) cruiser with nothing but a 250 for years, all over the place, and no issues
