Mission.
I'm/we're on a mission to build you a (insert marketing word) boat.
Does anyone want APEX painted on the side of their boat ?

I'm with interceptor on this, i voted mission.
everyone uses the phrase "i'm on a mission"
grocery shopping, i'm on a mission,
going to lowes, i'm on a mission,
couple days before Christmas shopping, i'm on a mission.
knuckling down and grinding the guts out of an old boat outside in 90* temps wearing a tyvek suit, etc!
can't believe it took 3 pages for someone to ask what type of boat, V hull ok but lenght-width, purpose-power, how many deck molds ?
i have many questions for you jeff and obviously, i'm pulling for ya that this is successful.

What kind of boat?
It was already mentioned elsewhere....... 24’ Banana boat. Really looking forward to seeing this go well, such a nice boat.
RR.
P.S. If I’m out of line posting the above, please PM me or have mods delete it immediately.

Starting with a 24 V! Got a sport deck and CC deck. Chances are i will get a new deck not long after the first couple boats. Nothing crazy on power i guess between 300-450 hp single to start with... customer demands will certainly help me find the best way!

I dont think that the name really matters, as long as it is short, non-offensive, and rolls off the tongue nicely.. What matters is that YOU build the name with quality, market driven product. For instance, what did "google" mean to you before there was a Google. The word Amazon used to conjure up ideas of a jungle, not today! Who in the hell would name a computer company Apple? What was a pepsi before there was Pepsi? Cigarette means something different to most of us in here than most.
In my opinion, especially getting started, more importantly is the tag line, as that paints the picture in the consumers minds, and that is what they really remember. After the brand is stabilized, then the tag line can be dropped. This takes years, so make sure that you like it and that you keep the tag line consistent.
I guess that the other thing to ask yourself is what problem is out there today that this boat will solve? If just another boat, it will be an uphill battle.
That all said, go for it!
