There's a lot of national parks in Florida Keys where (as I found out) don't allow jet skis to go to, but does allow boats to go to...go figure....this hot little number is allowed though ..

I would guess belt since it's fairly low HP and quieter.
No Jet skis, but can you use a jet outboard? These rules are crazy. We have a lot of "electric only" lakes in PA, I always wanted to build an electric PWC and rip through them at 50 MPH, while obeying the law.

there is about 3-4 brands of these type of mud motors. not all have reverse. they work very well with a electric jack plate. there is also tons of boat brands who will build you a cc with twins. have seen 4 on a bow fishing barge.
