LOL, who the heck cleans the boat after that travesty?? People have to beg me to even drink red wine on my ride, what you are doing is debauchery! :)

You can bring one 6 inch sub and a large botle of Tito's per person as a snack, we will be stopping somewhere on the water for lunch...

Sydwayz 04-28-2021 01:05 PM

Single again this boating season after 16 years.
Going to focus on bringing snatch aboard, not snacks.

If I don’t intervene the wife will pack half the pantry and fridge. She does make some killer pico de gallo we often bring along with chips. If it’s a long day at a tie up I’ll grill up a bunch of hotdogs at home and wrap them and the bun in foil for later. Usually hits the spot pretty good on a sozzled afternoon, and you can throw them a good distance too. We usually have one cooler for drinks and at least one more for food.

I used to love Tito’s until they started donating millions to “the movement”. They’ll never get another dime out of me. Salami and cheese packs are a good boat snack.

hoodoo 04-28-2021 08:38 PM

We have too many good bars and restaurants on the water to eat on the boat unless it’s fishing, then it’s Stella’s and Skoal.

seafordguy 04-28-2021 08:54 PM

We almost always go to lunch so the snacks are limited. I don't let kids eat or drink anywhere other than on the swim platform. Not having my Marine Matt carpet covered in potato chip stains and sunny delight

1Zoom 04-28-2021 09:02 PM

We usually stop somewhere, but cheese and crackers, bottled water, or a sub sandwich works in a pinch.

hoodoo 04-28-2021 09:10 PM

Almost forgot SUSHI.

Nothing with powered cheese or chocolate.

Original Pringles, pretzels, Lorna Doone shortbread cookies, and honey Teddy Grahams are OK

Gary C 04-29-2021 04:59 AM

I've been doing this since I was a kid, digging clams in the Great South Bay. I bring peanut butter sandwiches. No jelly. Something about the salt air make them taste really good and different. Weird I know!

Cashews, Pretzel Rods and Cheese

ICDEDPPL 04-29-2021 09:44 AM

Wife always has the fridge full.
I don`t know what she puts in there but I`m never hungry.
Fruit, chips, salami, sandwiches, cheese, protein bars, chocolate,.. she makes some great chocolate martinis on board too.
That`s why my boat is slow it always has a small grocery store on board and all the bedding and memory foam, and 100 bathing suits, bottles of alcohol. etc etc

Switch to Ketel One. No problems.

FWIW, this make a GREAT cold and hearty meal on the boat. I don't always want hot food when it's 102°F and 99% humidity.
https://kentrollins.com/catalina-taco-salad/
I don't like all the ingredients, so I adjust as needed.
Iceberg lettuce, cheese, meat, olives, Doritos of choice, tomatoes, dressing--done.

Mix it at home, and you can even make individual portion smaller tupperware containers to reduce mess. Add the Doritos (or Fritos) when ready to eat.

Deep fried chicken, pringals, cheese sticks

30ftpanther 04-29-2021 11:25 AM

Albacore tuna on hamburger bun.

Albacore tuna with salt, pepper, mayonnaise, spicy brown mustard, ranch dressing, lots of boiled eggs and dill relish. Prepare sandwiches at home place them in ice chest not directly on ice and a side of ruffles chips.

I hope you don't sleep on the boat after eating that.

Nothing big, but I still have a foster pontoon boat at the house, a 31' Cigarette that comes by sometimes; and I am suddenly motivated to get my 17' SOB Cat back to being lake ready.
Racing is keeping me pretty pinned down though. You will likely see me on a buddy's 39' NorTech later this summer as well.

phragle 04-29-2021 03:43 PM

If your boating with GlassDave, do NOT send the lunchmeat on Chuckies boat.....

36Tango 04-29-2021 04:00 PM

We have a couple of hundred pounds of deer sticks made every year. Plain sticks, sticks with cheese, sticks with jalapenos and cheese, etc. Easy to take with us, they are filling, everybody seems to like them, and they make no mess.

Keith Atlanta 04-29-2021 05:50 PM

Tower Vodka

Google it

Is that something you get done locally? I process my own deer but have never done jerky.

ICDEDPPL 04-29-2021 10:33 PM

Titos always gave me a headache at the end of the day , never failed .

Drock78 04-30-2021 04:33 AM

SecondWind 04-30-2021 07:22 AM

snapmorgan 04-30-2021 09:16 AM
