One of my work vans runs on CNG .
It`s cheap and doesn`t fluctuate in price .
Runs super clean , plugs are always like new and oil changes (clean combustion) are always clean.
Below zero Cold start are a pain.
200 mile range is a pain
Finding gas stations is a pain
the big tank takes up some cargo space
I wish there were more gas stations and plugging it in would solve the cold start issue . Came from Texas so they didn`t have that issue.

My bet is he can drive around the block once before he has to fill up again.....nominal residential gas pressure is .25 psi

My understanding is the CNG trucks have an auxillery diesel tank in case they run out of CNG and can easily switch over to diesel if necessary.
There is more to the electric car's and why companies like GM are trying to expand EV production - there are less moving parts, which generally makes it easier to build and repair, which means they don't need to employ as many people, especially skilled people. It's yet another example of how big corporations and liberals team up to cut jobs and stick it to the working class. They don't care how it affects jobs as long as it makes them feel good about themselves.

Was not taking a shot at you at all was just funny to me when someone says they fueled up at home. Just fyi CNG for vehicles is stored mostly as methane and the system pressure for fueling systems is around 3000 psi. I once did a feasibility study on converting rail car movers to CNG......juice wasn't worth the squeeze way back when.

When I looked the fill up stations for residential were about $20k and it took overnight to get a full tank . you`re not getting 3000psi by disconnecting your grill and trying to fill up your CNG vehicle
