Hi Fred,

Are you still battling the "Hamgurger War" ? Are you gaining ground on the enemy(McD)?? Hopefully you will have a chance to enjoy your new boat. Now the fun really begins. Enjoy yourself!

370's eh? Man, those certainly bring back the memories! I remember when those engines were considered as being pretty stout back in their day (late 70's early 80's I think).

Sharp looking boat from what I can see Fred. You gonna keep this one for a while?

Fred, not for nothing but, is the trailer to short for the boat?
I don't like the way it hangs off the back. The transom needs to be supported better. Sorry, I'm just a stickler for that type of stuff.

i checked out an 82 raised deck scarab with 370 and TRS. I said 370s to an engien biulder and they were like "WHAT you found a pair of those in a boat and still together"???? They said theyere were good engines in thier day but low output compared to todays standards. In any event the boat looks good and I'll sur eit'll be 10 before it leaves your shop.

Are you actuallygoign to put this one in the water?

The 370`s were a fantastic motor with all the good parts,4 bolt mains, forged rods, pistons, rectangular port heads. they were the predecessor to the 454 Magnum of 1988 and up.

I have a friend who has a 1982 30' Sutphen with 370`s,they
are
still running fine and have NEVER been apart!!!!

Good luck with the new toy!

Kurt.

Default I had to Laugh!

I was thumbing through my last PRA magazine for the 100th time when looking further at the article on Skaterfest I caught a photo of Too Old. I laughed because they referred to him as OSO's Too Old. Midnight
