Default 2016 Shootout Accident...

Accident: NO; stupidity in overdrive. If you run a 22-foot Donzi over 100, make sure your life insurance policy is up to date, along with your advance medical directive and will...

Also the resale value is way more with 525's.
If you are looking to make more power, than the 525s are the way to go imo. Not everyone is looking to hotrod their engine(I can't believe I just typed that). My 2002 496 has 519hrs on it with only an iac needing replacing in the 9 years I owned it- about 250hrs. Still runs like new with the original aluminum manifolds on it. And another plus is it runs on 87 octane. I am very religious about maintenance. I turn the key and go.

I missed the part where he was upgrading the 496. Stock to stock Vette makes really good points.

Modified hull and a driver who didn't back out of it when he should have. Please stop using that incident as your poster child for how bad the Donzi 22 Classic is. Mine only runs 85.
