GLH, the short answer is: NO. What goes into government coffers stays in government coffers. We all know that once they have your wallet, it's very hard to have it back...

Old thread brought back to life. Now that the Fountain 38 and 48 EC has been out for a few years, what is the feedback on Quality, Speed, for the dollars compared to the competition, or even boats over seas.

Thanks,

Really dug deep into the archives to get this one...EH?

The Powerquest is a nice Performance cruiser....we looked at lot of boats. Went for the 380 PQ for alot of reasons. Next up would be the Black Thunder
The PQ can be towed, has alot of headroom and runs 85 mph with all the amenities
Our 2003 was around $240,000.oo (new) w/o trailer
I am not saying it's for sale....BUT......if it was to go.... a BT (46) would be the next one

TED...what is the 38 EC?

For anyone looking for a 38 Fountain Express Cruiser, you should know that most of the boats come with 496's and Bravo 1's or 3's. To run the boat like it should be ran and be reliable, look at this one. 13,000 lbs + Bravo 1's may equal bad. http://www.doublerperformance.com/do...3781_5751.html
Factory installed 500 EFI's and XR's. Faster, more reliable, priced right with low hours. Works out to about $243k USD

Bump. I like this old thread. Any changes in choices for this type of boat?
