Well sh*t, let me call Dan and get on the list. That's a damn fine Cat.
Some of the comments in this thread are funny. Outboards vs Inboard reliability? Not even close. I've owned both. Everyone I know who owns both feels the same as I do. The cool factor of big inboard power cannot be beaten. But if you want to not worry about damn near anything and still go 85+ (Think Nortech 390 etc.) or even 120+ (MTI 340/390x, etc.) then the comparison ends. Outboards win.
If you actually wish to exceed 130 mph, then inboards are the way to go. I still think Inboards are way cooler, faster, and better sounding etc. but at the end of the day, our time is valuable and outboards mean you'll spend MUCH less time working on anything or out of commission waiting for some shop to fix your boat.

To clarify my comment- I don’t think they are bad boats. I think they are great, and this OL looks spectacular. I was really meaning just they are a dime a dozen now. Every new performance boat is built around them now. It’s getting old to me. Nothing more nothing less!
Meaning the type of boat is getting boring. It’s like if everyone was driving a Tesla. Oh wait I live in Cali and they are everywhere. Cool car but yawn. I hope I’m making some sense. Lol
everyone have a great safe weekend. Cheers

1) My 450 cat would KILL my 700 Skater from 0-100. And runs 131, the Skater ran 135. So, I am fairly confident we would have to run a significant distance for the 700 boat to sniff my rooster in the MTI.
2) The OB boat would also turn inside any turn the Skater could do.
3) We ran nearly 100 hrs(98) in the MTI in just less than a year. We ran 92 in the Skater in 3 yrs. 2 oil changes/services in the 450s. Zero problems. The 700s were nearly as good, only one fuel pump and one power steering pump. The problem with that was both problems happened in the MIDDLE of the the KW Poker run and left the boat stranded for at least one day each time. Plus the oil/drive services were adding up and the time we spent out of warranty was at least mildly stressful. No worries in the 450 boat. EIGHT yr warranty if I prefer.
4) If you do break a lower or shaft, and the MERCURY prop falls off, it's covered. So the expense is still zero to the 450 owner.
I have more if you need it.
And that OL has absolutely great lines. It should be a great seller. I am sure more than a few of those OL I/O guys are already in line.

Greg- like I said plenty of positives. To each is own… for me they are just getting old. But I get it- there is a reason for it. They just don’t really do it for me.
then again, as a entry level cat like an M28 for me- it’s a no brainer. I just don’t go to bed at night dreaming of an OB boat. That’s just me.
PS- the new OB boats still aren’t cheap.

May resemble a victory slightly but I see a lot of their I/O cat lines in this OB cat. Very sharp and unique looking as far as the OB cats go.
Off topic but the warranties are great and all but how long is it taking to actually get warrantied parts? Then you’re at the mercy of a shops time to install those parts?
