No offense, I get the positives. But these gosh damn OB cats are becoming so old. They are now just lame as heck to me!! I’m sick of them, they aren’t loud, Merc 700s sound amazing and are still faster, and IMO more reliable with M6s. No broken gear cases, prop shafts etc. and don’t forget you break a prop shaft you lose a 3-5k propeller!!

Can get 400Rs for $32k ea. Hard to beat that deal. I’m not sure if any of these boats are reasonable though.

I can not imagine docking a boat with no rub rail at a piling type dock in the wind with a tide ripping. That has to be nerve racking.

You can never even pre position the fenders since you don't know where the piling will be.

It's a great looking boat. Im sure it's epic to drive. CUDOS to OL on all levels.

But on that topic, I totally agree. Nothing accelerates or handles like a properly setup I/O boat. There's a reason they dont race against each other. They're all nice boats...but the idea that outboards are bulletproof is a myth. Maybe Im just old school, but if I had to have an outbard cat it'd be a 28 Skater with twin 2.5OS or a 32 with 3 of them...now THOSE were outboards!
