Just signed up here and looking forward to being a part of the forum and learning, maybe even contributing at some point.
I’ve built cars/engines, but never a boat and quickly realizing all of the components. So many questions, I’ve got a lot of reading to do.
Anyhow - loading up the wife and three kids (2,4,6) tomorrow morning and headed to Michigan from Missouri. Picking up a 98’, 27 Fountain. I remember being 7-8 years old taking a dump reading boating magazines and thinking some day I’d own a Fever
looks to be a pretty nice boat for it’s age. Needs some odds and ends, but nothing major. I’ll post some pics up and details later.

Congrats! I had a 32' Fever, loved it. I'm also from Missouri and keep the Nor-Tech at the 4mm on LOTO. Shoot me a pm if you need some help after you get her home. I've been boating LOTO for 35 years and gone through several boats and scratched my head on every one of them at some point so I may have some good OE if you run into problems.

Congrats and best of luck. Being a car guy gives you some very good common sense know-how that will work in your favor.
