What goes up, must come down. Remember 2008ish when a lot of builders closed up shop. When the stock and housing markets take a hit, so will everything else.

I didn’t think Florida allows mask mandates

Huge delays in supply and production in the over the road trucking world. Peterbilt dealers quit taking orders until further notice and raised the base price $6000 , mean while trucks ordered at the beginning of the year are 4 for months late on delivery and incurred upcharges.

They have new trucks sitting in fields at the factory waiting on chips. And if your new truck breaks down because of emission issues, good luck finding parts.

Van trailers are like gold right now and backed up until 2023 with a price of $52,000 , $20, 000 more than you could purchase one for a year ago. And new reefer orders are a 100 grand.

Tires are up 30% if you can find them..

Freight rates are at a historical high but parts, tires, fuel and equipment prices , even used are putting a dent into profits.

The inflation cycle has begun and the dumazzes that voted this old coot and his cronies in are too dumb to realize their days of treading water are over.

God forbid they get this 3.5 trillion dollar bill passed.

People *****ing all the time about the cost of "x" because of COVID... Wake up people, it's called inflation. Government has been buying over 100B in bonds every month just pumping out damn near 0% money.

.

Guy I had dinner with the other night has a 2019 Denali 1500 sitting at the dealer waiting on a computer part. Truck is under warranty, dealer can't get the part and truck doesn't run without it!

Drove by a Chevy/GMC pickup assembly plant north of Detroit near Saginaw last weekend and there had to be a couple thousand new trucks stored on plant property and a nearby farm fields probably due to the industry wide chip shortage.

Local Ford/Chevy dealers are on the same street, both have moved inventory to the perimeter of their lots, yet the center is as empty as a high school parking lot in July!

I always buy leftover trucks, like I'd be shopping for a 2021 now as the 22's are hitting the lots. I usually pile miles on them so the discounted price plus the extra year of age works out well after 2-3 years. Nothing to buy leftover or not!

Wearing a mask is the deal-breaker.
