The alarming part about the supply crunch, is that with Biden in the driver seat the government appear's to be making it worse with their vaccine mandates and ridiculous COVID protocals that both kill the existing labor force and make it impossible to hire anyone to replace them. I think there are many in this Biden government who despise business so much and also follow their man made global warming religious beliefs so much that they actually support any policy and will accelerate any crises that leads to de-growth and de-population.

The Great Reset has been a socialist wet dream for decades, and they've so much as told us, with a straight face, that the pandemic has provided them the opportunity to facilitate it. That businesses are struggling and ultimately closing, is all part of the plan, not an unfortunate downside of supposed necessary steps to stem the pandemic.

I have been getting that from engineering recruiters for years!

I had a 2 families that moved in a few houses down from me a couple of weeks ago that work at one of the top notch boat builders in the Cape Coral/Ft Myers area. Pretty sure they wouldn't pass a E-Verify check. Seem like nice hard working folks. They stopped by one day to look at my boats, but I didn't speak their language. Pretty sure one of them does upholstery work though. Might have him work on my old center console.
