There’s no “E” in “Camaro.”

Sorry, I hate to be that dick but it drives me nuts. And I’m a Trans Am guy.

Hope ya'll are wrong about the next generation going to let it die. I don't know, I mean just about any boater who is a die hard boater loves a short cockpit with a long deck speed boat. It's SeeeeEEEEXxY (in my best fat bastard from Austin Powers voice). Sexy never dies, and if it does then count me out anyways, don't want to be around for that chit.
They sure don't seem to be getting any cheaper, so demand must still be there. And driving slow boats still sucks so I think prospects for the sport still looking pretty good.

I was riding up Fort Myers Beach yesterday and caught a glance of a roughly 26' twin jet center console at the boat dealer, maybe Yamaha.

I think SeaDoo is the ones that are making the Jet CC.

I had a older SeaDoo twin 2 stroke carb jet, got rid of the safety so I could go from forward to reverse without touching the throttles. Loved doing the jet ski spin out 180's. The thing was a blast but I had to work on that thing more then my big boat and those little engines where buried.

Now the second boat is a Key West DC with a 150 Yamaha 4 stroke, gas and go.

I get the notion but there are toons that will outrun an old school flat-bottom and every seat is a lazy-boy..... if you are contemplating getting out of the offshore V's you are already picking and choosing the days you are going out in the boat already in terms of "ideal" conditions

Pretty stress free.
Liked it so much we upgraded , I can see the advantage of egg beaters ( I think theyre reliable right?) especially not haviing to fit into a bilge. These Yamaha motors in the jet boats are pretty bullet proof.

I think the 240 is the sweet spot for these boats. Several summers ago when my outdrive was at AADS getting rebuilt some buddies on my dock let the wife and I take out their 21' Yammy jet boat whenever they were up at their MI cabin and not using the boat. I think I took it out 3 or 4 times that summer and I was surprised how easy it was to maneuver around the docks and how much fun it was to blast around in. If I ever sell out at LOTO and go back to my local pond for boating one of these would be on my short list.
