Yeah, in PA we have a lot of electric only lakes. I'd love to get a 50 MPH Electric PWC, but know I'd end up in-front of a judge with it lol.
Wife and I plan to do the great loop someday, and are looking hard at these guys

It's almost 6,000 miles at a slow pace. If you could offest even 10% or 25% of your fuel costs, it would be amazing! Not to mention the improved maneuverability, and dead silent running. and to have full A/C / Heat with ZERO noise, pollution, smoke, or fuel burn on battery so cool.
You can charge from the engines, solar, or a marina. I would pack as many solar panels as I could possibly fit on to these things!
Everyone watch the Tesla even last night? Can't wait to get my CyberTruck, and hopefully someday a slightly used Roadster!

Interesting the horse to corvette analogy. The corvette is in fact in the same cycle - it breathes in just the same way. Fuel (food) and O2 in, CO2 out. I get what he's trying to say... still listening.

Point being... electric is far from being zero emission. The vehicle manufacturers have just moved the measuring away from the vehicle itself and pretty much duping the public.
And the real point.... it's all bull**** and a big money/power grab.

Its just funny how in the graph the EVs are actually starting out in worse shape then the gassers as far as CO2 goes from a mfg standpoint....then the break even point is in the middle of the graph...around 80-90k miles......there are not alot of people that keep cars/trucks that long! I'd say 75% of people dont hit 100k or 5 years before trading them in....I know i am the exception as i routinely go way past that! My current 2010 Avalanche is pushing 200k right now. My last truck had 180k on the clock when i got rid of it only due to an accident.
Point is they are not so "environmentally" friendly as they are made to be unless people would keep them long term....which most dont cause they want newer, better, faster etc...look at apple phones.....as soon as the new model is out you have lines waiting to get them! do the people need 1million mega pixel cameras? or 3 terabits of storage on a phone? I still have my Iphone 5S that's pushing 5+ years....cause i didnt want to pay for the fanciest thing out there and needed a phone to replace my old Nextel two-way that broke

You what i also just thought of........so lets say for arguments sake a battery in an EV lasts 10years....so when that time comes to replace the battery...what is the offset for the CO2 made to produce just that battery and how does it affect the long term curve on the original graph compared to the gasser???
