There is a place for these. Wakulla springs has used torqeedo for years to power their tour boats. Perfect place for them. Keeps the natural spring clean and they just loop around for an hour and plug right back in to recharge.

But torqeedo did it right. Found a logical market where the product makes sense and built up from there. When yamaha bought them they had 230 employees and 35 million euros a year in revenue.
