We are going to stay in the 850 range on these for now. I believe once you get close to 900hp the factory cooling needs to be upgraded.

I think you'll be pleased with those props, that you have for testing. I finally got my herings and maximus props ready for some testing very soon. I've been around Vettes all my life and if I were closer I'd come by to give you a hand.

Some fuel tank winter upgrades finished today. Factory pickups vs custom pickups for added fuel flow to feed the SC's.

I'm thinking about sanding and polishing the inside of my BDS scoop for max airflow. Anyone know where I could get a nice clean looking screen/flame arrestor made to mount in there? I chose to run this setup because of the heavy mist that comes up the transom so as to keep it out of the rear carb. Old school but cool.

I’ve been avoiding posting on his thread cause it might make me sick...

Replace the lighter blue panels probably with carbon fiber panels since I redid the interior last winter a much darker blue. Move garmin 7” from helm to passenger side.
Add new 9” garmin to helm which requires sliding the gauges outwards a bit
Replace toggle switches with blue water push button switches you can actually see at night
New stereo head unit in cabin and remote at helm
New amp that actually works
Replace 6.5” speakers in cabin with speakers that actually work.
Pulled apart throttle/shifter to rebuild/regrease. Old grease was very hard.
Either fasten down existing floor in cabin or cut out and replace. Haven’t decided which way yet. Loose in one spot and when you step on it right you can hear the clunk from being loose.
Rebuild step down into cabin to remove vent for AC that’s been removed.
Replace cabin floor carpet with marine mat or similar.
Finish new white and blue lights in cabin.
Finish wiring LED speakers
Finish wiring Drive sync for presets
Finish wiring LED cup holders
Clean up wiring to Simrads in bolsters a bit
As of yesterday, pull all polished or chrome parts, except steering wheel, and have them powder coated black or charcoal.
Valve lash and other less important things, lol

4 new indicator Cables
New AC ( if I can ever get it shipped)
New headliner (if someone will come do it)
New water pump mounts
Might play with the adjustable timing a little and see if I can get the idle down a bit and get them leaned out a touch.

All the easy stuff has already been done last weekend - oil, filter, drive lube, plugs.

New water pump and thermostats for the little 16' Donzi.....

I'm installing a larger oil cooler, and my bravo drive is over getting rebuilt by Dick Tryce (everything was worn out).
