Towed from Ga to lake Powell. Then spent 7 days 6 nights on Powell. Refueled and resupplied at Dangling rope. Moved to a different spot each night. Spent the days exploring the many canyons. Just me and the wife had an awesome time. She talking about doing it for 2 weeks if Powell comes back up some. 24ft Crownline with camper canvas.

5 days and 4 nights on a 24’ cuddy in the Keys.
Have done similar on Lake Erie many times but the Keys trip was epic, due to being our first trip in the boat I just completed a 2 yr restoration on.
We we’re also expecting transient marinas (Like Lake Erie) to break up the at anchor nights but we found zero where we were or that we wanted to stay at.
So, 4 nights in the cuddy, at anchor.
Was also the first test for the Mrs in a little boat.
She was used to our cruiser where she could plug in her curling iron 😎
Lucky for me, she loved it as much as I did!
I did a story/thread on here about it but the picture hosting nazis took my pixs hostage.

Started out behind the truck, in 2007, Madison WI to Bullhead City AZ, put in water spent 4 days running lake Mohave, from Katherines Landing to end before Lake Meade, Loaded up, trailered back down to Lake Havasu, Ran Desert Storm Poker Run (2 Days), Trailered back to Lake of the Ozarks, put in and ran next 5 days on LOTO. (We owned a condo at LOTO) Then the following year moved there full time.

The logistics of this trip are fairley easy.
Launch in Lake Chickamauga finish on Old Hickory Lake we went about 100 miles a day starting about 10 AM and finish about 2 PM, 30ish mph. Lots of marinas, covered slips about $35-$40 night w/electricity. You finish about 120 miles from start point by land. Easy Lyft ride to airport both ends to get rental car so getting back to truck trailer is a breeze. Beautiful scenery all the way and almost no water traffic even in height of summer.

Northern Michigan's Inland water route.
Done it a few times.
Cross the straights, down river, through the locks.
Not as long, but also enjoyed Torch Lake runs through the river and lakes a few more times too.
