Thats a good point I forgot to mention. Heck even pack snacks and cold cuts and make the best of it. So many other little things can add up in a hurry but it all helps the overall picture. I look at what I use to spend on fuel when I was practically living paycheck to paycheck and above my means as well but still did it and had the time of my life. I fall right in like most everybody else here. It sucks and I hate it but I refuse to let it stop me. I’m all about SB’s post (stop for 2 weeks). Let me know when I’m down but just not for the summer.

Btw… daaaauuummm! I just figured out what I spend roughly on alcohol a month. (Wish I didn’t even look at it). That itself is higher than it will cost to fill up the 12m. Anyway as mentioned maybe cut here and there and just be a little creative with compromises and in the end you might be surprised having less of an impact than you might think. Just sayin. At the very least it might wake you up as to how you spend your money… it did me 😳🙄. And I live like a hermit.

Another thing you can do is during these times and flip anything you buy that is a no brainer. Even though many are spending money like no other there are still desperate ones who need out NOW. From ATV’s to vehicles whatever. If you see opportunities to make a quick 1k to 10k plus do it. Just gotta act fast and have cash… and don’t feel bad for the desperate guy you took advantage of because if you don’t somebody else will. Just some thoughts.

Wont change anything for me. Although, if any known liberals somehow make it on to my boats, I will absolutely start asking only them to help with gas.

I removed my silent Thunder platform, refinished the entire transom, am fabricating/painting a new aluminum platform, new gimbal ring, new exhaust tips.......all this past winter. Agreed, fuel will be less expensive for my 10 or so outings this year. After all that time put into her and a long winter up here....I’m ready and will get out there!

Im not even high performance!
