Boat cost per trip/day out?
I realize fuel is a concern now and should be but I’m curious as to what boaters here cost per day is. If you calculate payments, insurance, dockage, repairs, maintenance, storage, misc expenses boat related. Annual expenses divided by how many times you use it (approx).
Numbers will be all over the board. I sense some pretty costly days on the water. |

A day out on the water in my boat? Priceless.

Number 4 actually doesn't apply for me since my wife ok'd the makeover last year and also wanted the superchargers, as well. She's the one who has the debit card on the weekends at the lake, expenses are no hidden thing. I can say boating for us is cheaper than having kids these days.

What made me think about it was some of the comments regarding the higher fuel prices VS your already fixed costs wether you use the boat or not. So…. :boat: |

My boat costs 5-6k to own per year…that’s just storage and insurance. Almost 500$ per month…kinda sickening. I usually stop running the numbers after that.
