Default Boat cost per trip/day out?

I realize fuel is a concern now and should be but I’m curious as to what boaters here cost per day is. If you calculate payments, insurance, dockage, repairs, maintenance, storage, misc expenses boat related. Annual expenses divided by how many times you use it (approx).
Numbers will be all over the board. I sense some pretty costly days on the water.

1. Don't know never calculated!
2. Don't want to know!
3. If I knew most likely would sell boats!
4. If I did know would never tell my wife!!
5. That about sums it up from my point of view!

Number 4 actually doesn't apply for me since my wife ok'd the makeover last year and also wanted the superchargers, as well. She's the one who has the debit card on the weekends at the lake, expenses are no hidden thing. I can say boating for us is cheaper than having kids these days.

I like #2 and get it. 👍. What made me think about it was some of the comments regarding the higher fuel prices VS your already fixed costs wether you use the boat or not. So….

No doubt they are worth it. We have 1 female Staffordshire Terrier, 1 male American Pitbull Terrier, 1 male Yorkshire Terrier and a female Standard Poodle which are our kids. Trust me they cost quite a few gallons of fuel as well, but those are our kids.

My boat costs 5-6k to own per year…that’s just storage and insurance. Almost 500$ per month…kinda sickening. I usually stop running the numbers after that.
