Here’s a pretty cool 6 min video or it running etc. What an incredible man and life he must have had. If he were still alive the money it would take to revive the Gentry Eagle would be chunk change.

The bottom looks to clean for 20 years in the saltwater and the sacrificial anode on the surface drive rudder looks close to new.
EDIT
Or it was just pressure washed.

Was on the boat about a month ago its too far gone for repair been setting for 25 years when i was there you counldn't tell there was an areson drive on the boat it was covered with barnicals and bird ****. It was still in the water at that time. It was a very sad day for me i was there with a gentelman that was interested in bringing her back to life but was too far gone. Last i talked to norman gentry was that is was going to get scraped. I was lucky enough to have gotten a ride on it back just befor tom had his accident.

It seems the plan is to float her down to Long Beach in a week. Bought by the Weier family in Pasadena, who's got a product placement company on the stock exchange in Canada since 6 months back. This can't be good for future annual reports.
