It’s called a hydrofoil, cavitation plate, whale tail, there’s a lot of names for it, don’t try coming in here and talking trash when I’m the one who came in here with a SPECIFIC question than got a few guys trying to show off and play mechanic trying to prove to everyone how much they know. If I wanted to “diagnose” my boat, I would have asked for help diagnosing. I don’t. I don’t want help diagnosing, or am I a big old bad guy because I want to stick to the thread? Ever think of that?

If you guys don’t have or have never had a stepped hull, I’d appreciate it if you just let the guys with stepped hulls talk. Not mine but it’s the same hull, rides on a pocket of air… do you see why I’ve said that trim tabs won’t work besides the fact that I talked to owners that said they didn’t help

Is that a step hull? Does it have a hydrofoil?
The rules have been laid out.
