Hi Guys , i am a NEWBIE .I would ask to you what is the best method to get over the hopping zone that commence around 70 mph ? I know well that the catamarans are different each other . I reach 80 mph in less then 800 meters (start hop around 70 mph ) but i think that i need more space to go over this speed right?. What are your suggestions ? The Thottle are WOT at 70 mph probably i have to use it gradually to connect better the rpm vs speed vs throttle position ? I am using a very light prototype cat , do you think that flaps (trim tabs) could help in the matter ? I use it rarely because i have seen that cause drags, reduction of speed and more fuel consumption but i think that have a the cat that runs more horizzontal (less then 4 deg ) is better to reach more speed .
I have changed several propellers but i have a stall around the same speed.

Try "loading" a sponson with either a slight right or left hand turn thru the transition zone and correct the boat slowly back into a straight heading as you are above 80 mph and it should pack air and hold itself up with a correct attitude. Transition zones are typically a 7 to 15 mph window and water conditions with chop will help reduce it.

What Joe said. With enough power you can blast through it. But in other cats like o/b cats I make a slight turn to stop the porpoise. In effect you are losing the air pack when turning and straighten it out when fast enough for the tunnel to pack air to hold it up.
