my uneducated guess is he is referring to the old "Apache, whats in a name" thread that dominated GD for quite while about the apache name and who owns it and what the name is worth... and Go!

Bingo - and combine that with the Ben Kramer and Don Aronow disagreement.

No big deal, I just thought of this when reading about Cigarette "possibly" pulling a fast one and two boat-builders falling out..

Agreed, so a business didn't succeed in the purchase of another business.. not all business is good business.. but its an internet forum and the people with zero invested and minimal net worths have opinions...

of course it is. most on this forum arent privy to the inside details of what did/didn't happen, and if someone were to know any details they wouldn't be anymore if they blabbed it here so anything said here is pure speculation. anything that was said to a member of the press is going to carry a bias of the person telling it. for the sake of the brand i hope they succeed, if not someone else can buy it cheap and build it up again like skip did... its all cyclical...
