We're in!!!! Been waiting for better dates. We're always in LOTO for the Cig run when they're usually doing this run. Can't wait.

We are registered. Trying to come out and do this, and then stay through the DCB Regatta in Havasu in October, before heading back to Ft Lauderdale for the winter.

We always break it up when we drive to Sandpoint into 2 day drive. Easier that way. Get down to Oregan / Ca. boarder first day, then run the rest second day. Get a room at the Hyatt Long beach night before the run. It's less than a mile from the ramp.

I'm going to need some advice on logistics. The Hyatt info is a great help too. Thanks Tank

Well, hold on a second. I had the wrong hotel. I forgot there's a new Residence Inn NEXT DOOR, to the Long Beach Launch Ramp. There's also a Double Tree Hilton (SCOPE has held poker runs out of in the past) a stones throw from there. Either are good and right there. Idle out of the harbor past Queen Mary and Roughly 26 miles to Avalon across the big blue. Easy peasy. I'd worn you to come back before noon on the return though. Wind and swell kicks up afternoon and it can be a b*tch. Morning, no problem.

Red circle is ramp, Yellow Residence Inn, Green Double Tree.
