Default 496 Mag Fuel Rail

I'm needing to replace my fuel rail... the GM factory fuel fitting on the fuel cooler line rusted to and through the fuel rail line. Merc PN 88169001 is obsolete. Spent the better part of the week calling everywhere to find one and no luck. While it's not my first choice, at this point, i'll take a good used one. Engine SN is OM650186.

Any suggestions?

Is it possible to have a fab shop replace the steel line between the regulator and the supply line and afix a permanent AN fitting? I can fab a new supply line with AN fittings.

I'm open to suggestions.

It is a GM rail... PN 12575055 but it's been on backorder for 9-10 months now. I've got used one locally which will work until i can get a new one. Might be time to upgrade the motor.

Its the stock rail.

Another good place to look is eBay for good new old stock or somebody that has a new one on the shelf somewhere. Or, just a good used one.

As far a welding, yes 100% I removed the stock garbage regulator and had someone braze either a 1/2 or 3/8 fitting on it to run an AN line to the Aeromotive regulator, fab a simple metal bracket and you are good.
