Another video and a few pics of buddies 377. Again, such a fun boat. Everytime I'm on it, everyone is all smiles! And the paint has to be seen in person. It looks a little funky in pics but man, everyone loves that paint job. We cruise through the channel in Havasu and everyone is pointing and waving.

If I am not mistaken that paint job was done by TOAD? Same dude that painted Lick this? Bet it cost 50grand to paint back in the day. Paint sceme in the opening pic was 64k. Shoot if the paint is not your thing, wrap it. Engines are gorgeous!

Yeah, pretty sure that is correct. Like I said, when it's on the water, people really react to the paint. They love it.

Ok, so you all are solidifying my decision. I truly hope we can come together on one of these. I understand the points being made about the Skaters, but unfortunately my finances won't allow me to shell out that kind of cheddar at the moment. Maybe someday, but right now I don't see a better option out there for ride quality. I've always thought the center pod would allow it to get on plane quicker. I'm not out there to focus on top speed, I truly want the best ride quality. We have a place on the 26mm at LOTO. The water can get rough, but I won't be running 100+ on crazy weekends I do want to be able to participate in events like the Shootout Poker Run with you all here in the high performance community and due to my injury, I need ride quality. I've NEVER been around a better group of people than I was during the Shootout. You all are the best and made this decision for me!

Best of luck. To see a dashcam of the Hustler 377 with 575s getting up on plane go to YouTube and search for the Trbocharge channel. He’s got a number of videos of the 377

I have owned this Talon for a few years now. It is a 377 cut down to 36, No center pod. It does have a narrow short pod towards the rear to protect the center engine on this triple outboard setup. I have owned a number of Skaters and a 39 MTI. The Talon has almost no porpoise but is not as fast top end as the Skaters and MTI. The reason is the hull does not have nearly the compression in the tunnel like the other cats. What the boat does do very well is run in rough water as well as any boat I have owned. The cool factor of the triple O/B on my boat gets a lot of attention at the docks and on the water. I am currently re-rigging with Mercury triple 300R four stroke V8's. Should be done in a few weeks.

This Talon has had a few owners in Ontario over the years. DoubleR Performance did the conversion a few years ago. It once had a full canopy as well. Like it's name, it is a RocketShip. Runs great.

My buddy sent me this link to one of the 37s Henry sold back in the early 2000s. It doesn't get much cheaper!

I've seen pictures of that 37 with the quad 400Rs before. All I see is problems with that setup. The sponsons are narrow on the 37, being that it is a centerpod boat (regardless of whether or not it has been removed), and that would place those inner motor gearcases into the tunnel water. Unlike the triple engine setup that runs a pod to break the water coming to the gearcase, the quad setup doesn't have that option. I bet the owner has nothing but problems with those center motor gearcases and motor mounts. The CG of that setup would be a concern to me as well.
