Default Any interest in a 50 Cary?

So I dropped off a boat at a local Canvas and Upholstery shop on Cumberland to have a road cover made and this beast of a 50 Carey is in a stall. The story is the boat belongs to a friend of the shop owner who was going to redo it - but he lost interest in it a decade ago and it’s just taking up space.

The boat has a totally new interior ready to go into the boat but they put it in storage years ago to protect it. The boat has 4 HP 500’s in unknown condition. Is there a market for a massive project like this? They just want to get paid for the upholstery work and make the boat go away. Opinions on the value of this thing - if there is any? Where to market it if there is?

I think it’d be great with two big diesels and surface drives but my pockets aren’t that deep.

RR

P.S. I’d list it on yachtworld, that’s loaded with big cruisers.

I would be interested in some more details. They were built in Grand Haven Mi. and I used to watch them go out for delivery. Rich DeVos wanted a 70' footer built and ended up buying the company in order to get it. That boat is now at LOTO. Please forward my number to the shop owner so that he can contact me.

Thanks,
Joe
