Getting closer to making this happen. Found what looks like a pretty sweet 87 35 but it's been 3 days and the owner hasn't replied back to me. Oh well. Hope to get this 99 32 Fever, which started all of this, by the end of the week. I'll be sure to post lots of pics, details and I'm positive there will be numerous questions.

Older thread but a good one. Lots of great information on transom rot etc. I’m glad I found it. Did the starter ever get a boat?

I hope this was sarcasm. I can tell you from personal experience using whatever sealant that is 4200/5200 it will rub off with vibrations and this is what will happen. You can still see whatever white sealant the cheesedicks that I bought the Cig from used.
Resin and how Brad described it is the only right way to seal the transom.

Every single hole got resin, I drilled the screw holes bigger to make sure I would be able to get a large Qtip with resin in them.
4200 on everything outside first line of defense.

and after I sealed them, I also made my own exhaust tips and seal all those with 4200 because I never liked those BS trim rings that fountain used
