I had a 8ft hydroplane with a 10hp on the back that worked 25% of the time lol and it had tiller steering!!! I think I was around 12 when I bought it. Can't find pictures of it. When it ran it was a lot if fun. Unfortunately my father sold it because he got tired of towing it in.

Gorgeous!
Always wanted a tin double cockpit runabout like that.
Had an old Crestliner w/twins but ran out of time before finishing it.

Built a 8’ Tiny Titan 3 point hydro from Glen L plans when I was 13.
Had a couple of 10 hp motors on it.
Ran low 30’s but felt like a 100!
My parents had a cabin cruiser docked on Sandusky Bay in Lake Erie and I kept that hydro in the water tied to the swim platform w/a 5 gallon can of 2-stroke!
As long as I wore a life jacket the old man let me terrorize Sandusky Bay in that thing!
What a life for a 13 yr old!
It was Utopia 🤓
