This is a pretty cool time lapse video of a father son restoration project of a 21 Scorpion, which is a copy of a 21 Challenger. Complete re-core, and everything. Tons of work but a great result. There's an article with all the details as well.

25 years ago I had the guy that owned/ran or worked at scorpion boats (not sure which, because you couldn't believe a word he said) do some work on a boat I had. He was a genius or more like a mad scientist, cocaine was his downfall.
Awesome to see a project like that!

Way Cool, Love restorations .
My nephew has started to gut and restore his 18 Baron he drove out to Arizona from Michigan to rescue from the scrap pile. His dad David who designed and singlehandedly built the plugs , molds and the 13 boats is working alongside him.
