Also look into air tight or Vault hubs.

I've heard of people sealing up and pressurizing the frame to prevent rust?

A large on board water tank to wash and or flush engines would be cool.

Pit bike racks.

Entry ladders.

I like the west coast style triangle center mounted permanent drive guard. Don't care for the gates that you have to open.
Definitely going with the Air tight hubs! Also have a ladder made with handrails & 6x2 steps for easy access up the bow with biult in bump stops so the boat rests in the correct position every time. Trailer will have a built in permanent drive guard. Though about pressurizing the frame but I only boat in fresh water so wasn't sure if it was worth the extra effort. Also thought of Air Ride axles but wanted to keep it simple not having to worry about compressors, lines and bags... Maybe the next one I'll give it a go.

Forgot to mention this may or may not be a TILT.. 😉

Zero to do with build quality, aesthetically speaking only, I’d take ques from the west coast builders like adrenaline trailers and do the flush mount LED lighting for brake lights and running lights and do the bling under carafe LEDS in your boat color as well as “landing lights” running down the frame rails for loading at night. They’re pretty cool and work well.

Would it better to use C channel over square tube or rectangular tube, then you don’t have to worry about water setting inside?

I don't think I can get the strength I need out of C channel nor would it work with the design I'm using... if it were a regular flat trailer it would definitely be an option.

So far the tool box is 75x35x24

Will be putting on a equalizer systems hydraulic jack.

Trailer construction will be steel.

Building the trailer myself in my shop... ( what else is a farmer to do over the winter) I'm hoping to have it done for Boyne Thunder in July.
Sounds like you got the must haves covered and therefore WE must have a build thread with plenty of detailed pictures with some how and why you made your choices across the board. We all love a good build thread.

If you are going through all the engineering / design, labour and expense of building a tilt, have you considered getting the trailer galvanized dipped for longevity? You can epoxy paint over gal but you can't protect the internal passage of the main tubes.

Assuming you are putting in all the led lights and accessories into the frame - it would make for 100% coverage as there would be no air pockets to prevent the bath from saturating the box tubes of the frame...

What do you think the entire setup will weigh fully loaded going down the road? Now that you mentioned tilt I honestly think you need bigger axles for the overkill factor.

EOH for sure. I would never have a trailer w/o DISC brakes.

My only comment fresh water or salt, water sitting in a closed tube steel trailer will rust from the inside out and you can't see it till it breaks.
