All trailers are JUNK. So build it way overkill so it holds up.
Bigger axles, brakes, bearing, suspension. You can even go way bigger on axles and run the correct suspension rating, so at least you get better bearings and brakes.
EOH Disc Brakes
Bright Reverse Lights
2 Spare wheels and Tires
Spare hub and bearing
stronger wheels and tires. Overkill. If spec is E load Range run G Load Range tires, etc.

Will be running 8000lb dexter torsion axles with EOH brakes on all 3 axles
17.5 alcoa wheels with 16 ply Continental tires
Will have 2 full spares and I like the idea of having them mounted on a spindle so if a bearing goes out I can just change the whole hub.
So far the tool box is 75x35x24
Will be putting on a equalizer systems hydraulic jack.
Trailer construction will be steel.
Building the trailer myself in my shop... ( what else is a farmer to do over the winter) I'm hoping to have it done for Boyne Thunder in July.

That's the exact axle and wheel tire combo I was hoping for, at a minimum.
Also look into air tight or Vault hubs.
I've heard of people sealing up and pressurizing the frame to prevent rust?
A large on board water tank to wash and or flush engines would be cool.
Pit bike racks.
Entry ladders.
I like the west coast style triangle center mounted permanent drive guard. Don't care for the gates that you have to open.
