Bare no covers. The only light marks I have to polish from my paint aren’t where my fenders are…they are where my dock lines or my shore power cord lays.

Mine is wrapped as well and the installer said never to use bare fenders. I have poly covers and zero scratching nor pulling.

Default These 5mm neoprene covers are the best!

just received some new covers from a company called Flexifabrics (not associated with them in any way shape or form) and I can’t say enough about their product and customer service. 5mm neo-wetsuit material, custom printed with my logo (can do any color) and polyester laminated w/ UV protection and 3 year warranty. I’m docked in a marina in Pensacola and I’ve had at least 10 people ask where I got them from. When I was purchasing I saw this thread below their link so wanted to share. Their website is Flexifabrics.com. (Again, I’m not associated with this company at all, I just want to support them as a small business because I’m super impressed with their people and products.)

Liveaboard claims no association with Flexifabrics yet he is a brand new member at OSO and he spammed another boating forum yesterday. People who promote a product as an independent 3rd party, giving an endorsement and claiming no affiliation is outright FRAUD. Hopefully a mod removes this blatant self promotion.

Fair enough—I can see how it comes across that way. Wasn’t trying to spam or mislead anyone, just sharing input based on my experience with different covers.

Not here to clutter the forum—if mods feel otherwise, totally understand. Otherwise happy to keep it to general discussion.

Whether he’s affiliated or not, those are pretty nice fender covers. 😁

I mean, I’d rather him just come on and be like “we sell these and they’re awesome” but whatever. It’s kind’ve a case study on old OSO vs New OSO and the social media f*ckery. Everything is BS now. Old days, company owners would come on here and show their product, straight forward. A lot simpler back in the day. 😂

I appreciate it—I genuinely love them. And like I mentioned, I’m not affiliated with the company at all. I’ve just shared my experience a few times, and it’s funny how saying something positive about a small business can set people off.

There are bigger things to get worked up about, and I doubt most of those comments would be said face-to-face. Not everything is a sales pitch. Also, what happened to be able to recommend companies on a forum like this without being accused of being the owner? Isn’t that what a blog like this is for? Either way, I’m going to keep talking about my fender covers because they’ve been great, and I have no problem recommending the team at Flexifabrics—they’ve done an awesome job.

Here’s the link again for all of the haters: Flexifabrics.com!

Fleece covers from Maine coast like shared above is a must on base clear paint. Any of these guys who run bare back don’t let them tie up to you! 😂

We now use nothing but BRIS inflatable bumpers and they offer neoprene covers that work great. Paint is WAY too expensive not to have them. They are available on Amazon and are very light weight-highly recommend them.
