difference between V10 400R vs V8 450R
Hi!
I have a 450R which I am very happy with.
Upgraded from Johnson V8 3.6 300 - Promax 300 SVS - 2 x 2.5 EFI SS - Verado 350 Sci - Verado 400R L6 and now 450R.
I wonder what is the performance difference between a V10 Verado 400R and a V8 450R? The V8 500R is too much both in money and hp for my ol Phantom.
I have this and 2 more seasons left on my warranty and I consider to downsize when the warranty expire (!)

400R has the same basic Sportmaster gearcase as the 450R, but I think it has a larger diameter upper driveshaft/splines and different waterpump.
The 500R has a completely new gearcase, with a larger diameter driveshaft, propshaft, and better waterpump.
